Using your existing crib mattress and crib bedding this bed will help your child transition from their crib to a twin bed. The side guardrail can be removed turning it into a toddler size daybed. An additional rail is included to create a footboard for use as a full-size bed with the headboard (side rails sold separately).  mattress support system consists of a series of flat slats.
